Hi there My name is Iris and I am from the Netherlands. I\'ve been playing the cajon for a couple of years now, mostly in my band, but also in traditional Irish sessions. Cajon is not an instrument you see a lot of at such events, but I love how much it adds to the traditional tunes This particular tune is called Cooley\'s and it\'s a reel, meaning it\'s in 4/4 timing. The solo intro is improvised, and I got my friend & fellow band member Marijke to play the tune for me on her tin whistle.
